Bio:

Dr. Sam McGee is a Data Scientist in the Predictive Analytics division at STChealth, which created the first U.S. Immunization Registry and whose network and systems now process hundreds of millions of vaccinations per year. He currently works across many projects, developing ML / AI solutions to existing IIS problems, while also ideating, testing, and creating systems that are shaping the future of IIS software and data management. He previously earned his Doctorate of Speech and Hearing Science at Arizona State University, where his research focused on the quantitative classification of bilingual subtypes and individual differences between these groups. He is passionate about data storytelling and enjoys the process of working with diverse knowledge backgrounds to become similarly passionate about our data processes, statistics, and niche problem sets.
