Sam, with over 30 years experience, in the data science space, provides advanced analytic support to his many clients. His current responsibilities at Harte Hanks includes quantitative support to many industries , including retail, financial, health care, automotive, technology, consumer goods, publications, among others. His previous experiences include heading the Predictive and Targeted Modeling area at American Express. There he was responsible for strategic and tactical support for the many subsidiaries of American Express. At TMI associates, a boutique consulting firm, Sam was principal analytic consultant. At JC Penney, Sam was responsible for credit scoring and database analytics. Sam has been fortunate to train many machine learning professionals. He is a  frequent speaker at industry conferences, and has published dozens of machine learning related articles. Sam has an undergraduate degree in mathematics, and earned an MBA at New York University. He has lectured at both Columbia and New York University.
