Karthik is an ML practitioner with 9 years of industry experience, 6 in Trust, Safety, and Fraud. He currently leads ML for Dasher Fraud at DoorDash, building models that prevent fraud before it happens and correctly attribute it afterward. Previously, he worked on Traffic Quality at Yelp where he built models to detect bots, scrapers, and inorganic traffic. Karthik is passionate about understanding the entire ML lifecycle beyond model training, especially automated evaluation, interpretability, and feedback loops that continuously improve models over time.
