Jon Francis joined State Farm® in November 2025 as the Vice President – Head of Digital of Digital Channel Performance.
In his current role, Jon drives pace, prioritization and coordination of digital channel growth efforts companywide. Jon and the Digital Channel Performance department focus on digital channel strategy, achieving digital channel growth targets for acquisition and service, and unifying the customer experience across the organization. His team works cross- functionally to unify the customer experience, in partnership with Enterprise Technology, Agency, Marketing, PCA/PCU, and other key stakeholders.
Prior to joining State Farm, Jon was the Chief Data and Analytics Officer at General Motors Company.
He has spent his career leveraging data and analytics to create elevated experiences to deliver on customer expectations. At General Motors, Jon led data and analytics for the enterprise to drive customer-focused decisions through use of AI/ML and analytics. Prior to this role, Jon spent 6 years at Starbucks, most recently as Chief Digital and Analytics Officer. He also brings data science experience from Amazon, T-Mobile, Microsoft and Nike.
Jon earned a Master of Science in Statistics from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from St. Olaf College.
Jon and his wife, Joli, have two teenage daughters Emma (17) and Sadie (15).
