David Howard is a seasoned Data Scientist and Tech Lead at Datasite, the leading platform for M&A data room transactions. He brings deep expertise across Generative AI, traditional machine learning, optimization, recommendation systems, NLP, model explainability, and statistical frameworks. Over the years, David has built a wide spectrum of models—from passenger cancellation probability and next‑best‑destination recommenders to vehicle valuation tools, LLM hallucination detectors, and outlier‑detection systems leveraging Shapley values. He also spearheaded a multi‑year GenAI seminar series to demystify emerging AI technologies for broad audiences, and most recently used the Claude Suite to generate descriptions for 13,000 Snowflake tables and 400,000 columns.
