Using Agent-Based AI Methods for Tactical and Strategic Decisions
Date:
Wednesday, June 4, 2025
Time:
11:40 am
Summary:
Agent-based systems and Agentic AI are becoming popular again, but some of the challenges and issues discussed decades ago are still unsolved. A key tradeoff is between a small number of highly complex agents vs a large number of collaborating simple agents. As organizations rush to create LLM-based complex agents, we should step back and see if it is more practical to build simpler agents first. We also need to design environments to validate and test these new agent-based systems.
Bipin will discuss the following topics:
- Different agent paradigms and their pros and cons
- Use of agents for tactical and strategic decision making
- Environments needed to test and validate agent-based systems
