Bio:

Aaron Simon is the Senior Manager of Data Science at CSAA Insurance Group, where he leads the enterprise-wide Independent Model Validation (IMV) function. His team is responsible for stress-testing predictive, generative, and third-party models for safety, fairness, explainability, and real-world performance before they’re deployed. Aaron designed and operationalized CSAA’s model validation framework from the ground up, building the tools, partnerships, and validation structures that now guide the company’s responsible AI practices.

Prior to leading IMV, Aaron held several senior roles in analytics, marketing, and product strategy, where he delivered measurable business impact. He’s known for combining strategic thinking, enterprise storytelling, and a bias for action to demystify AI risk. Aaron is a trusted advisor in CSAA’s AI governance strategy and a champion of scalable, human-centered machine learning.
