Bio:

Sriram Selvam is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft AI with extensive experience in AI, machine learning, natural language processing and the integration of large language models into web search. He is one of the founding members for the Bing’s Generative Search Experience’s Data pipeline. He has played a key role in the integration of GPT models to enrich the traditional search experiences.

Sriram is passionate about the ethical deployment of AI, with a particular focus on issues related to bias and long-term privacy in AI systems. He combines hands-on industry expertise with research-driven insights to address the societal impact of AI technologies. Sriram holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Utah, where he completed a thesis focused on optimizing large-scale network systems at CloudLab a open research platform. He regularly shares his knowledge to foster responsible AI development and meaningful technological innovation.
